Two years, countless kilometres and a world seen from the saddle. Bikepacker Luca began his adventure with nothing more than an old steel bike and a few bags. Today, he has crossed continents, from Singapore to South America, from Japan to Australia. What began as a solo journey has become a deep connection with the global cycling community, the gravel, the road, the adventure. Ride beyond limits. Explore without borders. Join Luca on his cycling weekend in Greece.
"For me cycling is happiness. I love road cycling, but in my opinion gravel cycling is pure freedom. It's really my comfort zone. Playing with all the trails, jumping over rocks and just being free. Listening to some good tunes. For me, cycling is just pure happiness. So when I go out in nature and cycle, I just have a big smile and I don't worry about anything. And knowing there are more and more people experiencing the same thing (with cycling) is amazing"

"What's the difference between cycling on gravel versus on the road? The tyres are way wider. I use a different bike and choose different clothes to be a bit more comfortable."""What's the difference between cycling on gravel versus on the road? The tyres are way wider. "If I go for a 20-30 km ride, I don't pack anything and I maybe stop (to get something to eat). But if I plan to cycle a bit further, let's say like 100 km, I definitely carry some protein bars, electrolytes and so on.""If I go for a 20-30 km ride, I don't pack anything and I maybe stop (to get something to eat). "A GPS device to track my rides is a must-have. I always wear a helmet with MIPS. It's comfortable and it protects better. For windy or sunny days, I always carry my sunglasses. It's super important. Those three are definitely my top picks.""A GPS device to track my rides is a must-have. I always wear a helmet with MIPS. It's comfortable and it protects better. « Partir pour un long trajet signifie voir et rencontrer beaucoup de monde. Je suis plutôt introverti, mais je m’ouvre plus aux gens lorsque je fais du vélo. Cela me rend heureux de rencontrer de nouvelles personnes et d’en apprendre davantage sur d'autres cultures. »
